In 2020, Colt re-introduced their legendary Python series. After decades out-of-production, the Python 3-inch is back.

Originally conceived as and designed to be the company's top-of-the-line model, the Colt Python stands the test of time as one of the most memorable revolvers in history.

The new Python was only offered in two barrel length however, 4.25" and 6", leading to customer requests for Colt to reintroduce the shorter 3" barreled model as well.

Colt Manufacturing Company LLC showed off the reintroduction of its .357 Magnum Python revolver at SHOT Show 2020.
