Batman: The Animated Series is one of the most fondly-remembered pieces of Batman media ever, but the cartoon didn't always make perfect sense from a logical standpoint.

Batman Beyond was launched as a direct sequel to Batman: The Animated Series. It starred a new Batman, Terry McGinnis, who takes on the mantle after impressing an aging Bruce Wayne.
