[Blue Blade Fish] wanted to build an Arduino-based aquarium controller. He’s detailed the system in (so far) 14 videos and it looks solid. This isn’t just a simple controller, either.
Instead, a virtual version of the hardware has been built into a web interface. [Tobie’s] part of the hack is to use an Arduino and a few buttons as the controller.
This gamepad will eventually be available for purchase through the Arduino store, but Radioshack should have it as well. It's not online quite yet, but the Arduino blog promises it will be out soon.
This has only been tested on a Arduino Leonardo board. But it should work Arduino Pro Micro and Arduino Micro because they all have the same microcontroller. The gamepad has the following controls.
