An American Airlines flight carrying United States lawmakers was struck by an airplane Thursday at Reagan Washington National Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and lawmakers on board.

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — The wing tip of an American Airlines plane struck another plane from the same airline on a taxiway of the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Thursday, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

The wingtip of an American Eagle plane hit another American Airlines plane carrying several U.S. Congress members Thursday afternoon at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
