A researcher's new astonishing software called "Photo Wake-Up" allows 3D character animations to simply "walk out" of a static image frame.

The algorithm can produce videos that predict what will happen next in a scene, based on a still image, the researchers at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) said.
