At 3:47 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning in effect until 4:15 a.m. for Greene and Washington counties.

A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Ohio, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania. The National Weather Service says the warning includes parts of Eastern Belmont County in Ohio, parts of Marshall and Ohio counties in West Virginia, and parts of Greene and Washington counties in Pennsylvania.

A tornado warning was issued for northwest Putnam County Wednesday night and it’s believed it was a tornado that did quite a bit of damage in the area. The Dupont area got hit the hardest with several buildings and homes damaged or destroyed.

In northeast Arkansas a rare tornado emergency was issued as debris flew thousands of feet in the air.
