Oprah Winfrey is speaking out on her involvement in Kamala Harris' presidential campaign after reports she was paid $1 million to host a rally.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign shelled out nearly $2.5 million to Oprah Winfrey’s production company for the celeb-packed town hall it hosted — more than double the initial estimate reported.

Oprah Winfrey denied that the was paid a $1 million personal fee by Kamala Harris' presidential campaign to take part in a Sept. 19 event with the vice president: "I was not paid a dime."
