Sean Murphy has been activated and the Braves have decided to keep Drake Baldwin \-\- their top prospect, per MLB Pipeline -- at the big league level to share the catching duties. Murphy was activated from the injured list and Chadwick Tromp was designated for assignment on Sunday.

Top prospect Drake Baldwin owns a .154 batting average with a .434 OPS through his first seven MLB games. But Baldwin has shown enough to stay in the show. The Atlanta Braves announced Sunday the team has reinstated catcher Sean Murphy from the injured list.

While the Atlanta Braves may not have played today due to a rainout, they did get some good news on the injury front. After having a successful rehab stint with Triple-A Gwinnett, Sean Murphy is officially back with the big league team after the Braves activated him from the 10-Day IL.
