Virat Kohli escaped with a fine of 20 per cent of his match fee after he shouldered 19-year-old Sam Konstas on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test.

Virat Kohli found himself embroiled in another controversy in the ongoing tour of Australia after barging into debutant Sam Konstas on Day 1 of the fourth Test at the MCG, which led to the former India captain getting fined and receiving a demerit point.

Kohli was fined 20 per cent of his match fee and handed a demerit point for a face off with Konstas when the two bumped shoulders and exchanged words.
