Unfortunately for those booked on the next sailing, Royal Caribbean has made the decision to cancel Icon of the Seas next sailing, scheduled to depart Miami on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas needs to undergo unplanned maintenance when the cruise ship returns to Miami from its current sailing, leading Royal to cancel a seven-night voyage scheduled to depart Sept. 28. The ship is expected to remain in Miami for repairs.

Utopia of the Seas suffered a brief power loss recently that impacted the ship's air conditioning for several hours.
