IndiGo expects to carry 112 million passengers in 2024 and is on the way to become a leading player in global aviation, its chief Pieter Elbers has said.   In 2023, the country’s largest airline has flown over 100 million passengers.

Domestic airline market leader IndiGo estimated 11.2 crore customers in 2024, in line with the latest DCGA data that saw a 12 per cent bump in domestic passengers till November 2024

This projection comes after the airline surpassed 100 million passengers in 2023, marking a significant milestone for the country's largest airline.

India is among the fastest-growing civil aviation markets globally, with IndiGo holding a 63.6% domestic market share and actively expanding its international network.
