The Phillies' home opener against the Rockies is just days away. On Friday, ground crews got Citizens Bank Park ready.

The Philadelphia Phillies played their first home game of the season on Monday against the Colorado Rockies, giving fans their first look at some of the new aspects of Citizens Bank Park. While there was far from an overhaul at the Phillies home stadium since 2004, this year’s alterations did go a little bit beyond expanding the ballpark menu.

Sosa's two-out, two-run double and Schwarber's subsequent two-run homer put the Phillies on the scoreboard in the seventh inning and paved the way to a 6-1 win over Colorado in the home opener at sold-out Citizens Bank Park on Monday.

"When you do have that really big moment, it just makes it even more special when there’s 45,000 behind you behind you screaming, hollering, yelling," Kyle Schwarber says.
