Commanding the seventh lead of his career at the halfway point, Matsuyama converted his advantage into his fourth victory while in that position. It is his second straight conversion with his last coming at what was his most recent victory, the 2024 St. Jude Championship.

Matsuyama wins The Sentry on Maui; breaks PGA’s scoring record
Matsuyama finished at 35-under 257, the lowest 72-hole score to par in PGA Tour history. It was good for a three-stroke victory over runner-up Collin Morikawa, who shot 67. Matsuyama birdied the final hole, a par-5, to reach 35 under.
