NARRAGANSETT − Two South Kingstown residents, both in their mid-twenties, are the young men who died at the scene of a crash on Mumford Road early Saturday morning, according to Narragansett police.

The crash occurred on Mumford Road in Narragansett early Saturday morning. Two died at the scene, while two were taken to the hospital.

Officers responded to Mumford Road around 1 a.m. Saturday to find four people inside the one car that was involved.

Two people were killed and two others injured in an overnight car crash in Narragansett. Narragansett Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on Mumford Road around 1:00am on Saturday. Police say 4 people were inside the vehicle.

A 26-year old and a 24-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene, the two other occupants were transported to the hospital, according to police.
