Pittsburgh quarterback Russell Wilson's calf injury is improving, but Justin Fields will get the start when the Steelers host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.

Justin Fields’ reign as the Steelers starter continues. Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Russell Wilson would see his practice participation “pick up some” this week, meaning Fields will almost assuredly be under center for a fifth straight start in Week 5’s matchup with the Cowboys.

While they’re coming off of a loss, Justin Fields has led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 3-1 record. However, head coach Mike Tomlin has refused to name him the team’s official starting quarterback. Russell Wilson is expected to up his practice participation as he makes his return from a calf injury,
