Ahead of the Monday hearing, Anthony’s family also retained Dallas-based attorney Mike Howard to lead his legal defense, according to a Saturday news release from Next Generation Action Network, a civil rights organization. The Dallas Morning News reached out to Howard’s firm Saturday, but didn’t immediately receive a comment.
