Square Enix confirms that the upcoming PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is officially Steam Deck verified ahead of its impending release.

Whether you want to play on desktop, laptop, or the Valve's handheld, it seems Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will run fine when it comes to PC later this month.

The second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy is almost within reach for PC players. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches on PC storefronts on January 23, 2025. Unlike the first game in the series, this release offers multiple editions to choose from for the PC version.

New rumors and leaks point to both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth releasing on Xbox in the coming years.

Square Enix hasn't confirmed whether the game is Steam Deck Verified, but said that the development team is currently working hard to optimize it for the handheld. Final Fantasy VII Remake is Steam Deck Verified, so it might not be too long before Rebirth is too.
