President Trump’s refashioned board of trustees voted him chairman and replaced the Kennedy Center’s president Deborah Rutter with Trump ally Richard Grenell.

Producer Shonda Rhimes, who was appointed by President Barrack Obama and was serving as treasurer, announced her resignation Wednesday. Singer-songwriter Ben Folds also resigned as artistic adviser of the National Symphony Orchestra, and singer Renee Fleming also would step down as artistic adviser to the center.

The president is making good on his promise to combat what he calls “woke” and “terrible”  programming at the prestigious cultural center in Washington, D.C.
