Following the revelation Friday from cryptocurrency exchange firm Bybit that hackers stole digital tokens worth about $1.5 billion – in what may be the biggest crypto heist of all time – CEO Ben Zhou wrote on X Sunday that it has replenished its reserves. Bybit was able to do this through a mix of emergency loans and large deposits.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has accused North Korea of a major cyber theft, stealing around $1.5 billion in digital assets from cryptocurrency exchange ByBit. The incident marks the biggest heist in history, beating the previous record of $1 billion stolen by Saddam Hussein from Iraq's central bank before the 2003 war.

Bybit has returned to a 1:1 backing of client assets and has fully closed the “ether gap” it faced after an unprecedented $1.4 billion hack hit the exchange late Friday.
