Arkansas baseball three lefty transfers epitomized an offensive revival that carried the Razorbacks all the way to the College World Series.

When Arkansas defeated Tennessee 11-4 on Sunday, Van Horn became the 12th coach to lead his team to the CWS 10 or more times. He took Nebraska in 2001 and 2002, and this is the eighth time he has led the Razorbacks to Omaha since 2004.

Five batters after Tennessee slugger Andrew Fischer grounded into a double play with no outs and the bases loaded, University of Arkansas right fielder Logan Maxwell launched an opposite-field home run with the bases full to send Baum-Walker Stadium into a frenzy on Sunday.

A grand slam by Logan Maxwell in the fourth inning helped Arkansas punch its ticket to Omaha for the 12th time in school history and the first time since 2022.

For the second day in a row, Tennessee has watched their Omaha chances wither away at the hands of a high-arcing homer into their bullpen as Logan Maxwell’s 330-foot grand slam carried Arkansas to an 11-4 win over Tennessee to punch their ticket to Omaha for the first time since 2022.

Arkansas knocked off Tennessee, the defending national champion, in two games in the Fayetteville Super Regional.

Logan Maxwell had three hits, including a game-breaking grand slam, and Arkansas defeated defending national champion Tennessee to sweep the best-of-three Fayetteville Super Regional.
