Took the grandchild here on a bus from Auckland CBD. Easy 25 minute ride. Nice flat bay, decent park and plenty of cafes around.Full review by GrantandTracey

It is a lovely walk on a fine day, approximately 90-110 minutes, with many opportunities to photograph the coastline and other features. On the way a visit to Kelly Tarlton's Sea World would increase the time spent in the area, but would offer a day's visit in all! Alternatively, brunch or coffee at Mission Bay as an interlude would not go amiss. Enjoy!
