There is a car park which faces Old John. It's called Hunts Hill and is at - Sharply Hill, Newtown Linford LE6 0AH There are toilets there and the path goes straight up to Old John

Newtown Linford gives you a lovely walk on Tarmac past the river and the ruins towards the tea room. An ideal start with the option to branch off if required

I didn't have any problem with parking and there were plenty of spaces but I am not entirely sure if it will be busier this time now
