This is where the plot thickens. I have a Sonos system and turned this on to compare with the Bose. The Bose stood up well to the Sonos so no complaints there.

It will play sound effects through the Soundlink 2, but will not play music from iTunes through the Soundlink 2. Only through the tablet's speakers.
